Most American history lovers have strong opinions about George Armstrong Custer, the Civil War hero or the “villain” at the Battle of Little Bighorn. Join historian, Dr. Judy Morley, to re-examine the Custer myths and legends.
Judy Morley earned her PhD in American History and served as the Director of Development for the Western History Association, where she developed her fascination with the interplay between myth and reality. She is the author of multiple essays and books, including Historic Preservation and the Imagined West: Albuquerque, Denver, and Settle. She has been the lead scholar on three documentaries about history and mythology. An entrepreneur as well as scholar, she now resides in Gettysburg, where she owns a leadership consulting firm and The Gettysburg Cookie Company.
