Join longtime ACHS Volunteer Bonnie Richardson as we explore the types of businesses and occupations that existed in Adams County over a century ago. While you may have heard of some of them, many of these occupations disappeared at the dawn of the 20th century. This program will explore their hidden history.

Bonnie Richardson spent a career working for the Motion Picture Association of America, negotiated international trade agreements for the U.S. government, and served abroad at U.S. Embassies in El Salvador and Nigeria prior to moving to Adams County. She is now a volunteer Research Assistant at the Adams County Historical Society.
