Company K: The Boys Who Fought at Home

Tuesday, July 2, 2024
1:00 pm2:30 pm

The men fought within sight of their own firesides...

Join historian Phil Spaugy as he discusses the history of Company K, 1st Pennsylvania Reserves, the only unit of Adams County men to fight in the Battle of Gettysburg. The unique stories of these soldiers are intertwined with the larger story of a community torn apart by war. The program will cover Company K's organization, battle experiences, and profiles of individual soldiers, several of whom are highlighted in Beyond the Battle Museum.

Tickets are free for ACHS members and $10/general admission. Reserve your tickets here: https://tinyurl.com/28w5shep
