Discover Your Adams County: 1863 Fairfield

We hope you'll join us on Sunday, July 28th from 1-4PM at the historic St. John Lutheran Church in Fairfield for a special event!

This is a continuation of our "Discover Your Adams County" series, and will focus on Fairfield's role during the aftermath of the Battle of Gettysburg, including the treatment of Confederate wounded in Adams County. Additional programs will highlight the history of St. John Lutheran Church and Fairfield during the Civil War.

The program is free for ACHS members and children under 12 years of age. There will be a $10 charge for nonmembers, but this will be waived if membership is purchased at the door.

St. John Lutheran Church is Located at 13 E Main St, Fairfield PA. Parking is available on-site.

Any individual who financially qualifies, based upon level of income, may be granted free admission to the museum. The determination will be made by museum staff based upon that individual’s application for free admission.
